On 24 November an official Quality Awards Ceremony was held in the Awarding Hall of the Russian Government House. The Government highly appreciated MMC Norilsk Nickel’s performance in 2008 and awarded the Company for its significant results in the field of quality of products and services, as well as for implementation of efficient quality management methods. The Award was granted by governmental Decree No.765 of 28 September 2009. The Government Awards were bestowed by First Vice Prime Minister Mr Shuvalov. First Deputy General Director Mr Matvienko, Deputy General Director and Head of Sales and Distribution Business Unit Mr Sprogis, Director for Federal Authorities Relations and Labor Remuneration Mr Poltavtsev, and Director for Production Operations Management Mr Ryumin represented MMC Norilsk Nickel at the Ceremony. An exhibition of information stands and an exposition of winners’ main products and services were arranged along with the Ceremony. |
